Children

The Inn is primarily a getaway for adults, for romantic
getaways and a destination spot, and is therefore not
appropriate for children under twelve.

*Raffled, Auctioned or Won Gift
Certificates Use - You must use your certificate
before it expires. Book early to be sure to get the date
you want. We do not extend into the next year.

****There is no discount when using any type of
Gift Certificates.

After August 2007 there will be no expiration date shown
on gift certificates, however if possible we request that
you use your certificate within one year.
Gift Certificates issued prior to August 2007 will not be
extended. If you have a balance it will be credited to your
next stay. Please bring your gift certificate with you.

Pets
The inn is not able to accommodate pets.

Smoking
The inn is a smoke-free environment. There is no
smoking anywhere inside the Inn or anywhere on the
property including decks and gardens.
When it is necessary for us to deodorize a room due to a
guest smoking, a surcharge will be assessed to the
registered guest. This surcharge ranges from a minimum
of $200 on up, depending on what is necessary to return
the room to its original smoke free condition.

Other Policies
*Coming with a group? Let us know when you
book. We will reserve breakfast seating for
you in advance.
The livingroom/lobby cannot accommodate or
be used for group dining, however if you are
bringing food and drink in your cooler for
snacking, do enjoy your treats on our two large
decks at the side of the inn, weather
permitting. We hope you will use and enjoy
these spaces as well as our garden areas. They
are a certified wildlife habitat and we think
you will find them and the decks a refreshing
change of pace. The only place in the garden
that we don't allow food is the Zen Garden.

The third floor deck is a fire escape only and is not for
guest use for anything but an emergency. Doors opening
to this deck were put in many years ago in place of
windows, and are used for fire escape purposes.

We have an open patio on the restaurant level, for guest
use, and the middle deck is open for seating as well. There
are chairs and tables, which may be accessed outside by
the stairway at the side of the building.

~Bikes may not be stored inside the building.
~Bike shoes (cleated) are not allowed to be worn
anywhere in the building.
~The burning of candles, or incense is not allowed
anywhere in the inn.
~Hand guns are not allowed anywhere on Mrs. B's
property.
FOOD ALLERGIES - Please let us know if you
have an allergy to a certain food prior to your
arrival.

Guest Comments

It is the custom at Mrs. B's to
remove shoes before entering guest
rooms. You may place them on the
mat in your closet or outside of your
room door. Shoes may be worn in all
other areas of the inn.
If you have a medical problem with
your feet, do not worry about taking
them off in your room.

Our bed and breakfast rates range from $129 to $165.00
per evening and include afternoon refreshments and a
full gourmet country breakfast for two. There is no food
service in the guest rooms. All rates are subject to the
9.5% rooms and meals tax. Room gratuities are always at
the guest's discretion. Please note that guests rooms are
on two floors and the inn does not have an elevator.

Deposit/Cancellation Policy
All reservations must be secured by a credit card. This
guarantees both the guest and the Inn the entire period is
reserved. Confirmation letters are sent via e-mail or the
postal service with every reservation; please note arrival
and departure dates carefully. There will be a charge if
guests do not arrive, arrive after the reserved date or
depart before the final date of the confirmed reservation.
For reservations cancelled within 7 days of the arrival date
there will be a full charge for the room unless we are able
to rebook for the entire period of the stay. If we rebook
your room, we will send a check refunding your room
amount.
*All holidays and event weekends require a
two week notification for room cancellations.

*We require a two night minimum on
weekends from opening in mid-April through
October or closing. Weekend defined -
Friday-Saturday, Saturday-Sunday.(and on
three day weekends. i.e. Mondays for
Memorial Day, July 3rd, Labor Day, Columbus
Day)

Forms of Payment
The Inn accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Cash.

Cancellation policies are discussed with you on the phone
at the time the reservation is made or via e-mail, guests
making a reservation for a room accept the terms of the
policies. Be sure to add our email address to
your email program if you have a SPAM
FILTER. Otherwise, you will not receive your
confirmation!

Check-in/Check-out

Check-in is welcomed from 3p.m. Please inform us if
your arrival will be later than 10p.m. Our front door is
locked in the evening.
Check-out is requested by 11 a.m. (with the exception of
Tuesday which is 10:00AM) to allow our staff the time to
prepare the rooms for our next guests. When we are
cleaning we may lock the front door to allow our
personnel to clean rooms without distraction. It is
necessary to have time between check out at 11:00AM and
check in to properly clean 9 rooms for our next guests. If
you arrive prior to 3:00PM and have an immediate need,
please come to door at the side of the building (restaurant
area) and knock on the door.

*We observe quiet hours at Mrs. B's between
10PM and7:30AM for the comfort of each of our
guests. Please observe - no group activity in
the living room after 10PM.

in Lanesboro. We know that
Verizon and Alltel do. There is a
phone behind the guest bar in
the lobby. All local calls are
free. Long distance requires a
calling card.
