The Root River runs all the way to the
Mississippi, and runs right behind the inn.
We are surrounded by nature and its
wonderful sounds.There are benches to sit on
in ourZen garden and in the lower garden
allowing for wonderful relaxation and
peace. We are also surrounded by the
beauty of the limestone bluffs of Bluff
Country.

All of our accommodations offer warmth
and quiet comfort to welcome you. Each
is uniquely decorated and appointed with
period furnishings and a wide variety of
traditional and modern amenities. All rooms
have private baths, and a rubber ducky in
everytub/shower, just for the fun of it.
Some rooms have whirlpool tubs and
all rooms have gas or electric wood
stoves. The inn is air conditioned during
the summer season. Rooms have new plush
Serta mattresses (Room 3 has the only 'King
bed), electric wood stoves or fireplaces.

All room rates are for two people with
full country breakfast.

There are no televisions or phones in the
rooms. We do have a guest phone on the guest
bar in the livingroom.

Reservations
Our bed and breakfast rates range from
$129.00 to $174.00 per evening and include a
full gourmet country breakfast for two. All
rates are subject to a 9.875%tax. Room and
dining gratuities are always appreciated by
our servers and cleaning staff.
Please note that guests rooms are on two
floors and the inn does not have an elevator.
