Breakfast
Breakfast at Mrs. B's Historic Inn is an enjoyable and
relaxing time. We take seriously our commitment to
provide you with the highest quality foods. Using
those foods that are organically grown is always our
first choice. Most of our plate garnishes are grown in
our own garden. No poisons are ever used.
We serve between 8:00 and 9:00AM, with final seating
at 8:45AM.
Seating is either in our Bistro Room or in the larger
Dining Room. Special dietary restrictions can be
accommodated by prior arrangement only.
We realize that you have a hard day of
kayaking, canoeing, tubing, pedal-pushing,
shopping and site seeing, so we make every
effort to make sure that you have a great
breakfast.
Ginger & Terry prepare and serve a full
gourmet country breakfast that is designed
to please your palate and hopefully help
remind you to come for another stay with us
at Mrs. B's Historic Inn.
Some of the items on our Breakfast Menu
are:
Coffee ~ Assorted Teas ~ Juices
In season Fruit of the Day
Kokoke Lani French Toast a la Grand
Marnier
Slices of wonderful French Baguette, dipped in our
own creamy orange-cinnamon batter with Grand
Marnier. Garnished with fresh sliced strawberries,
fresh mint, pecans and served with warm maple syrup.
Breakfast Bread Pudding
A delectable concoction of cinnamon raisin bread afloat
on a creamy, 'melt-in-your-mouth' custard.
Crustless Quiche
Crab or honey roasted ham and some of the finest
white cheddar cheese we have found, mixed with eggs
and light cream, (and a few 'secret' ingredients) to
create this light and fluffy, melt in your mouth quiche.
Served with a fresh tomato salsa. We use heirloom
tomatoes when available.
Quiche Lorraine
The original/traditional quiche with creamy custard
made with fresh eggs, imported Gruyere and bacon.
Eggs Benedict
Fresh made Hollandaise Sauce finishes perfectly
cooked eggs atop slices of Honey Baked Ham or
Canadian Bacon, all nesting on a freshly toasted
English Muffin.
German Puffed Apple Pancake
Granny Smith Apples are sauteed to perfection
in butter, sugar and cinnamon making the filling
for this puffed lemon-flavored pancake.
Omelets and Fritatas
These are about the easiest way to be creative.
Just imagine the possibilities! Fresh young asparagus,
new Spring potatoes and Gruyere or sharp Cheddar
Great beginnings.
Blueberry Stuffed French Toast
Homemade egg bread combined
with blueberries, cream cheese, and a batter
of half & half, eggs, maple syrup and
a touch of cinnamon...baked to a puffy
perfection for no other reason than to
please your taste buds.
We also serve:
Assorted Homemade Muffins
Croissants
Pecan Sticky Buns
Sweet Breads
Bacon, Sausage, Ham and
Canadian Bacon
Country Home Fries
or whatever the chef has in mind on
any particular day.
