| Mrs B's Historic Inn was the first Bed and Breakfast in the lovely town of Lanesboro. Built in 1872 & opened as an inn in 1983 Mrs B's has been renovated once again in 2005 with great care. Each of our nine rooms have been decorated with our guests in mind. Some have whirlpool tubs and a fireplace or an electric fireplace. We hope you will visit us soon, and enjoy the Inn. | Mrs. B's and Lanesboro was a truly wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary! We loved Room 7 and its view of the river & lovely garden. We enjoyed biking, golfing, the quaint shops and the dining was top notch, especially Ginger and Terry's phenomenal breakfasts! When we purchased the Inn in 2005, there were many things to restore. We began to do the work necessary in order to open as soon as we could.
During those times we had lights turning on by themselves, tools missing, and it seemed there were things we hadn't planned on. As we continued we
became quite sure that we had guests that we hadn't known about ,and we kept it to ourselves, not wanting to disturb anyone. We had an inn to bring
back to what this grand lady deserved.
Now after all this time we have settled in to living with our 'Special Guests'. We have no fear, only benevolent beings here. We have had guest who have
seen or felt things, however most times our 'special guests' seem to be more quiet, only making themselves known when
the Inn is empty.
On April 23, 2010 we had After Hours Paranormal Investigations here: Dr. Nancy Horvath-Zurn (Hawk), Heather O'Brien and Janelle Schoen. The
group spent the night investigating. They found many interesting things here which finally allowed us to know for certain that our guest are truly nothing
to be to be concerned about.. Yet very interesting. After all Buffalo Bill stayed here as well as Doc Powell who had and office upstairs. There was a bit
mischief between them, and in the end they were both told to 'get out of town'.
Dr. Nancy and team also have held a class here and will have another, including an all night Investigation for those who take the class.
