The cornerstone of Lanesboro. Built in 1872 and is on the National Historic Register. The beautiful limestone building became the first inn to open in Lanesboro in 1983. Enjoy our comfortable Rooms and our wonderful full breakfasts. ~We purchased the Inn in 2005 & began to renovate. During this time strange things began to happen in some of our rooms. This year we were contacted by the After Hours Paranormal Investigation Team. They conducted a full paranormal investigation, spending the entire night here with findings of mischievous, yet benevolent spirits. The team returns in the Fall for another investigation. Mrs. B's Inn has been found to be one of the most haunted Inns in Southeastern Minnesota. ~ Previously we were written in 'Ghosts of Southeastern Minnesota' by C. S. L. On the bank of the Root River one of Minnesota's most ancient and picturesque valleys. Restored to include modern conveniences, while keeping a comfortable and eclectic Victorian decor. In the yard between the inn and the twisting river, the conversations of birds, the sound of flowing water, and a lovely gardens offer a peaceful place to relax. Looking from Mrs. B's windows outside, is a scene that could have been painted by Thomas Cole or Grandma Moses ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Built in 1872 ~ Restored in 1983 & 2005

What a delight! We are here on our honeymoon. 1st time to Lanesboro and Mrs. B's! Your gift of flowers in our room & nice card was a pleasant surprise and nice touch. Great hosts, Great food, Great room. Thank you! G. & C., MN
My daughter reserved a room at Mrs. B's Inn as a Mother's Day gift, and for us to share a mom/daughter weekend (without the distraction of 2 year-old). What a truly wonderful gift! Terry and Ginger Neumann (the owners) were warm and gracious hosts, making us feel welcomed as soon as we arrived. The inn is beautifully decorated in a Victorian theme and cozy (warm chocolate chip cookies for the taking as we checked in). Our room overlooked the Root river with a beautiful garden just beneath our bedroom window. Both the bedroom and bath were large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Located in the heart of Lanesboro, we were able to walk about town exploring the unique shops and restaurants. Breakfasting on fresh fruit and incredible homemade bread pudding (Ginger's special recipe) was the perfect start to a perfect day of biking along the Root River paths. The countryside is breathtakingly beautiful and one could spend the weekend exploring the rolling hills and more. .................Liz P., MN.

The Flying Truffle Company Began in 2003 after we had come back from Hawaii where we were introduced to Hawaiian Chocolate on The Big Island. We decided that making chocolate truffles was something we would enjoy. Since coming to Minnesota we have find quite a following. Time is a bit tight as we own and run Mrs. B's Inn, however we continue to have truffle weekends occasionally and our guests are given these smooth, decedent confections to taste test. Favorites are Grand Mariner (Orange) and Chambord (Raspberry) blended with other delicate flavors. Posted dates right here.
